Tehreek-e-Huqooq elects office-bearers in first election

A large number of people from lower and upper Chitral took part in the election held at Mukhtar House in Booni. Other new office-bearers elected are: Mir Ayub, the patron-in-chief, Abdul Wali Khan Advocate, vice-president; and Ishtiaq Ahmed, information secretary. Speaking on the occasion, Rehmat Salam briefed the participants about the working of the Tehreek since its inception three years ago. Upper Chitral Subdivision: President Muhammad Younus Lal of Kosht, general secretary Muhammad Pervez (Booni), information secretary  Abdullah Jan, senior vice president Nadir Khan, vice president Hakim Khan (Kosht), finance secretary Sharif Khan and Joint secretary Hussain Zareen (Torkhow). It was decided that the office-bearers for lower Chitral chapter of the Tehreek would be named later. The office-bearers of Tehsil Mastuj officials would be selected after the oath-taking of the office-bearers of the central Tehreek.]]>
