Students sports festival concludes

BOONI, Oct 23: A three-day student sports festival organized by the Youth Development Programme concluded at Warijun, Mulkhow. Students from Kosht to Kushum took part in different games including football, cricket, volleyball and literary contests. The final match of football was played between the teams of Govt high school Warijun and Govt High School Kushum in which the team from Kushum remained the winner. In the volleyball fina, the Kushum team won the match. Former MPA Ghulam Muhammad, who was the chief guest on the concluding day, distributed prizes among the winning teams. The literary contest was held at the Govt Middle School Warijun in which students form public and private schools participated. This programme was presided over by former police officer Ghulab Husain while Dr Asif Ali Shah was the chief guest. Naat Khwani and Qirat contests were also held among the students from different schools.—Nazir Hussain]]>
