PPP upper Chutral wants separate organizational set-up

The meeting discussed measures to make the PPP unbeatable in upper Chitral, says a press release issued by the media cell of the PPP upper Chitral. The participants recalled that in August this year the provincial leadership of the PPP had decided in principle that keeping the size, difficult terrain and the province-like size of Chitral, the PPP would be organized into PPP upper and lower Chitral. The PPP workers had welcomed the decision and later also elected their local office-bearers in the intra-party election. But so far the notification about the new office-bearers elected in the intra-party election has not been issued by the party leadership and the workers were waiting for it. On the other hand, some vested interest group within the party were trying to impose themselves on the workers by disregarding the results of the intra-party election. The workers would never accept such tactics of the vested interest group, they added. The meeting also formed a committee which would gather details about the party-related issues and organizational concerns in the PPP upper Chitral and would convey them to the chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and the provincial readership.  ]]>
