Over 1,500 visit free eye camp at DHQ hospital
CHITRAL: Over 1,500 were facilitated at a three-day free eye camp held at the DHQ hospital, which has been without an eye specialist for over three years.
The medical camp was arranged by an NGO, Umma Welfare Trust, in collaboration with the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Peshawar.
The eye specialists conducted surgeries on 170 persons and provided medicines and glasses to the patients.
The team of doctors will now hold a similar camp in upper Chitral.–GH Farooqui
