DHO Chitral supported
BOONI: Member tehsil council Mastuj from Charun UC, Sardar Hakim, here said some political leaders and activists in Chitral were running a campaign against the district health officer (DHO) Chitral, Dr Israr Ullah, and wanted to remove him from the post. “DHO Chitral is a honest and professional officer and has been discharging his responsibilities with dedication,” he said while talking to ChitralToday here. The nazim said during the recent appointment of Class-IV staff in the health department of Chitral, some political personalities put pressure on the DHO to accommodate their people. But the DHO refused ad made the appointments purely on merit,” the nazim claimed. Endorse Shahdat Ali’s comment. Secondly, dear editor please correct the word Nazim and replace it with Member Tehsil Council. As per new Local Government Act, 2013 the person is not Nazim, he is member tehsil council from charun uc. Thanks

Seems new entrants to politics had also had their share of the cake. Otherwise, the nazim from Charun should have dragged the DHO to the court as the condition of the THQ hospital Booni is in front of him. My suggestion to young people is, these statements must be brought in the notice of the people in order to educate them what he is doing to protect his vested interests.
