Congratulations to all the parents and graduates who received degrees during the Aga Khan University Convocation 2018. It was heartening to note that most of the graduates come from the hitherto neglected and backward areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, featuring prominently are those girls who come from Chitral and Ghizer area. No doubt the AKU is setting examples of developing the poor like no one did.

For one thing Dr. Nasima shines among the stars of 2018 Convocation. It was not easy for a daughter who lost her father to an accident and a loving brother to an air crash, to still continue her Ph.D studies and research work. But it was only her courage not to loose heart in the face of dauting challenges and adversities, that shows the way forward. If Nasima can still do it why not Me?
