The proverb truly implies to the recent issue of appointing SST teachers in Elementary & Secondary Education KPK, through NTS. As many as 89 candidates from Chitral and 1,200 from all over KPK had qualified the test but unfortunately a week before their appointment some might persons (in service CTs) intervened and filed a petition in the High court to ban the appointment of SSTs which the high court duly accepted. Two months after the filing of the case, no progress has been made.
Now the question is, If (in service CTs) are right, why the said vacancies were advertised? If the appointments are cancelled, who will pay for the candidates who had come across the country for the test and spend 10-15 thousand in their penury? Why the courts are so late making their decision? Validation period of the test is said to be 06 month. Can high court make their judgment before that or the case will peter out from the scene gradually?
These are some questions of the candidates who are tired of waiting for Education department and courts decision. The provincial government should look into the matter and soothe the woes of candidates. PTI chairman I.K should ask the high court to do haste in making the judgment. Government should solve the issue and should not let their woes become rife.
IK and PTI government reiterate to bring Educational reform in KPK and to appoint teachers on merit basis but the recent issue bogus their claim down and make it only a debunk claim. It seems the government is effete to quell those who are incompetent but have resources to come to the courts and circumscribe the selection process.
