Man arrested for sexually assaulting minor boy
BOONI: Police have arrested a man on the charge of sexually assaulting a three-year-old boy in Muzhgol village of Mulkhow.
According to the FIR lodged at Mulkhow police station by the mother of the boy, the suspect lured her son into his shop and allegedly assaulted him. As the boy started bleeding and crying, the man handed him sweets and sent him home.
The victim narrated the incident to his family who approached the police. The incident occured on Dec 16, according to the police.
The boy was later brought to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Booni from where he was referred to the District Headquarters Hospital Chitral.
Doctors at the hospital in a report confirmed that the minor boy had been assaulted and was also injured.
Police after registering the FIR under different sections of law have arrested the man and further investigation is underway.–Karim Ullah

One of my respected brothers above has asked chitraltoday not to share such news in the media, because it is against the values of Chitral. If a man can not be affectionate to a 3 years old baby, why cannot he be brought into the law of the land. he must be punished as law of the land. taking him in Qaqlasht and stoned is not a logical appeal. Due to these cases no parent is comfortable to send their child to school, or any other institution. Bravo to the mother of the child who took bold step to inform the law enforcement agency.
Only 10 years Jail (means 5 years if day night count) is enogh punishment?It is not enogh punishment in our opinion such criminals should be punished like “Sangsar” in open place.He will come out of jail after 5 years.
Well done ChitralToday.net for highlighting a gruesome crime. Pushing the dirt under the carpet makes it stink after sometime. Exposing the dirt will lead to cleaning it. Those who say such crime should not be reported do not understand the implication of hiding such crime against vulnerable children.
