LG members reject new cabinet of PTI Chitral
CHITRAL: Elected members of the local government belonging to the PTI at a meeting here on Tuesday rejected the recent party organization and announced their decision to constitute a nazimineen forum.
The participants of the meeting, including councilors, village council nanzims and naib nazims said the new cabinet was formed without taking the workers and elected members into confidence. They said despite the fact that the government had announced to divide Chitral into two districts the formation of one cabinet was a conspiracy. The meeting demanded that two separate cabinets should be formed after taking the local government elected representatives into confidence.
They said if the current office-bearers were retained in Chitral the fate of the PTI would not be different than what it faced in the 2013 elections and for the defeat the PTI Malakand division would be held responsible.
They said besides two cabinets for the two districts, the PTI should also name new office-bearers for the four tehsils of Chitral. If these demands were not met, the LG members would announce their own strategy for the next elections.
