Judgment on pleas against Musharraf's nomination reserved

CHITRAL, APRIL 4: Returning officer Chitral Mohammad Jamal Khan on Thursday reserved order over the applications of political parties and lawyers seeking rejection of the nomination papers of former president Pervez Musharraf. papersThe judge reserved the order on the ground that identical petitions seeking the rejection of Musharraf’s nomination papers may be filed by Friday for which the court will have to wait for another day. Muneeruddin advocate, the counsel for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, told the judge that the former dictator had usurped powers of the supreme judiciary on November 3, 2007, and abrogated the constitution twice.
