Importance of sports emphasized

KARACHI, Dec 2: Sports as an extra-curriculum activity is the most important for every student. When you participate in extracurricular activities in a group, you learn how to interact with different people and also can maintain your fitness as well.
This was stated by prominent Chitrali social worker S.A. Kirmani while speaking as a chief gust at the inaugural ceremony of the Azharuddin Memorial Chitral-Gilgit Premier League (CGPL) 2013 in Karachi on Sunday, says a press release.
CGPL is one of the most successful events of Chirali students that is organized every year by the Chitral Student and Social Welfare Association (CSSWA, a registered association of Chitrali students. Regional and local teams from Chitral and GB are participating in this tournament and the matches are scheduled on Sundays only. A huge numbers of lovers of cricket from Chitral, GB and local people are participating in the event and enjoying different matches along with soft Chitrali music till the sunset.
CGPL is one of the annual scheduled events of CSSWA, as CSSWA organizing different event like two seminars, Chitral culture programmes, CGPL and student debates.
