First Muslims to arrive in the subcontinent were Ismailis, says historian — 5 Comments

  1. yes indeed he is right we are the first Muslim who come to chitral too for the preaching of Islam and I always grateful and proud to be the descendant of such people ….. the thing is that to accept some thing..

  2. Look some people are challenging a historian like Dr Mubarak Ali. Oh my God, my head is aching what can I say to these people who after listening to that laal topi wala Zaid Hamid on TV are trying to impose their opinion on others. Mei kehta hun Muhammad bin Qasim was a badmash. We don’t accept him as a hero. He could be a hero for many people but for me he was no more than a admash.

  3. i agree with dr ali “the frist muslims to arrive the subcontinent were ismaili muslims”

  4. Strong exception to his saying Qasim did not come to Sindh for propagating Islam, rather he acted as agent of Omayyad imperialists. The question is how Islam spread in this part of the world if people like heroes of the stature of Muhammad bin Qasim worked for merely mundane purposes?

  5. There are lots of new things that will come to light if historians wrote history impartially.
