Drosh to become new tehsil soon, says PTI leader

Talking to local reporters, the PTI leader, who has for long been advocating for the tehsil status for Drosh, added that a notification in this connection would soon be issued by the revenue department. He said the people of Drosh were thankful to the provincial government for fulfilling their long-standing demand. The creation of the new tehsil would accelerate the pace of development in the area, he added. He also appreciated the efforts made by MPA Bibi Fouzia and officials concerned for creating the new tehsil. With the addition of Drosh as a  tehsil, the number of tehsils in Chitral would increase to three. Though the creation of the new tehsil should be welcomed, the PTI government is dragging its feet on the demand of the people of upper Chitral to declare their area a new district.]]>
