District govt, politicians ignore Chitrali APS martyr
CHITRAL: Yasirullah, son of Nasirullah, a student of APS Chitral among the students killed by terrorists on Dec 14, 2016.
He belonged to Barenis, therefore, a government school in the village was named after him by the provincial government last summer.
All the high officials of the district government and elected representatives of Chitral were invited to attend the gathering. But it was disappointing for the people of the area that except Tehsil Nazim Maulana Ilyas none of them bothered to attend the event.
Today, rallies and functions were arranged in every nook of the country in memory of the APS martyrs but it was disgusting that the district administration, including District Education Officer, didn’t wake up from the deep slumber.
The notables from the area, including the relatives of the Shaheed, demanded an apology from the government officers and the public representatives for this negligence.
The great sacrifices of our heroes shouldn’t be forgotten. We always be feeling proud of shahheed yasirullah and all martyrs of Aps.
We must realize that, Chitral is progressing speedily towards Talibanization. you can not expect such events to be honored by people you have mentioned in post.
