Chinese miner injured in blast near Chitral town

CHITRAL: A Chinese miner working on a mineral plant at Shidy area of Chitral town sustained injuries on Monday morning.

After carrying out three blasts at the mining area at Shidy when the labourer, identified as Luronglai rushed back to the site there was another blast.

As a result, he sustained injuries to his face and other parts of the body.

The injured was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where he is being treated.

There are quite a large number of Chinese nationals working on different projects in Chitral.
