Truck falls into river, two injured

CHITRAL: A truck on way to Peshawar from Chitral fell into the river in front of Naghar on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Rescue 1122, the emergency service received a call about the accident at 4:30pm on May 19 and reached the spot.

The medical team along with the help of a recovery vehicle pulled out the driver and his helper (both brothers) from the truck.

They were slightly injured and provided first aid on the spot.

The truck was also towed to the bank of the river. The cause of the accident was tyre burst, said the rescuers.
