Motorcycle rider injured in accident due to speeding

CHITRAL: A young man was injured after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle due to speeding.

According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred about 10 minutes before Iftar at the Dwashish bazaar in Jughor.

The rescuers reached the spot and after providing first aid to the injured identified as Nisarullah shifted him to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The Chitral police on Saturday said they arrested over 75 underage bike riders to check accidents.

Untrained and underage youngsters have been driving bikes causing accidents across Chitral.

Moreover most of people who have licences are involved in reckless driving leading to accidents.
