PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan formally inaugurated work on rhe six km Chakdara bypass road which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 450 million in two years.
This project benefit people of Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Bajawar and Chitral districts and will save at least 1.5 hours travelling time.
Addressing a public gathering after the inaugural ceremony, the chief minister said the provincial government is practically working for the uplift of backward areas to bring them at par with the developed areas so as to ensure uniform and sustainable development throughout the province.
He said the project of Chakdara to Chitral Expressway had also been approved and Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate it very soon.
