Young man commits suicide in Upper Chitral

CHITRAL: A young man committed suicide in Upper Chitral due to unknown reasons.

Police said Jahanzeb, son of Haji Khan, shot himself with a 12-bore gun in his house at Ujnoramanch village.

The injured was being taken to a medical centre when he died.

Suicide incidences among young people, especially women, have seen a phenomenal increase across Chitral in the recent years.–Nazir Hussain Shah
