Three-day Broghil festival from Aug 16

CHITRAL: The three-day Broghil festival will b held from Aug 16 at Broghil National Park.

Organizers of the festival told ChitralToday here that this year a large number of tourists were expected to visit the far-off area of Chitral to witness the event.

Festival chairman Amin Jan Tajik and focal person Muhammad Irshad said yak polo, cricket, polo and other traditional games would be arranged on the occasion.

They said yaks would also be arranged for those interested in playing yak polo. They said this years proper arrangements would be made for the event and for those intending to take part in the festival.
