Molana Rehman elected JUI Lower Chitral president

CHITRAL: Former MPA Molana Abdur Rehman was on Wednesday elected as the president of the Jamia Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Lower Chitral.

In an intra-party election, Molana Rehman bagged 232 votes against 171 scored by Molana Abdul Shakoor. Hafiz Inam Memon of Molana Rehman’s panel was also elected the general secretary with 167 votes.

Election for the office-bearers of JUI Upper Chitral was also held in which Molana Karim Shah was elected as president.–Bashir Hussain Azad
