Complaints lodged with DC against hiring of outsiders by resident engineer
KOGHUZI: People of Koghuzi at an open forum (kutcheri) complained to Deputy Commissioner Khurshid Ahmed Mahsud about non-payment of compensation to locals affected by the Golen Gol power project.
They also expressed their apprehension about the recent appointment of outsiders as Class-IV at the power house by its resident engineer.
The residents said they were also facing problems due to lack of doctors and facilities at the rural health centre. There is also shortage of drinking water in the area.
Due to the non-repair of the Chitral-Mastuj road the local people are suffering a lot.
After listening to the complaints, the DC ordered Assistant Commissioner Mr Alamgir to meet the officials concerned of the powerhouse, seek explanations about the grievances of the locals and get them resolved. –Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
