School holds mushaira in connection with Kosht festival

KOSHT: The Brilliance School of Studies (BSS) Kosht organized a Mehfil-e-Mushaira in connection with Jashn-e-Kosht in collaboration with Anjuman-e-Taraqi Khowar.
Famous poets Inamullah Siyar, Ghafoor Ahmad Sukhta, Zahid Nishad, Riaz Akhzar and Azmatullah Azmi shared their views about bringing a positive change in society and recited their compositions on the key theme:

The literary festival was part of the institute’s initiative for the promotion of extra-curricular activities.
Literature, particularly poetry, is one of the most significant traditions of Khow culture which has not only been playing role for the development of Khowar literature but also has been crucial for the development of language itself.
Khowar poetry being widely followed by people of every age group across Chitral also plays a role of opinion maker.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Vice Principal Government High School Kosht Mr. Amanullah Khan appreciated BSS for its role in the holistic development of the students in particular and the entire Kosht region in general.
The chief guest also extended gratitude on behalf of Managing Director Mr. Adnan Zainul Abiden to all the participants, particularly the poets, who dedicated their lives for the protection and promotion of Khowar literature.
Mr. Adnan Zainul Abiden’s message emphasized the importance of education for competing in the era of meritocracy. He urged the students to work hard and achieve excellence in their respective fields.
He aslo requested the parents to keep a close eye on activities of their children to avoid wastage of time and resources and to extend their care and support at every stage of their life.
Director Community Development BSS appreciated the role poets of Chitral had played in the development of Khowar literature and in the progress of the whole community.
Highly appreciable, BSS Kosht is doing a great job in promoting holistic development of the students and local culture. Long live BSS Kosht.
