Football tournament begins in Drosh

DROSH: Pakistan Zindabad Football tournament started at Murad Stadium in Drosh on Saturday.

Wing Commander 145 Chitral Scouts Lt Col Khurram inaugurated the festival. Local people including elected representatives were present at the inaugural ceremony.

Talking to the participants, Col Khurram appreciated the arrangements and said sports activities are main source of recreation in this backward area. He said Chitral Scouts had been supporting sports activities and would continue its patronage.

He said the stadium was being improved and renovated which would be more attractive for sports lovers.

Pakistan Zindabad Spring Festival has been organized by Chitral Post and Ideal FC Drosh in which 32 football teams from different parts of Chitral are participating in the event.
