CHITRAL: Cheques were distributed among Kalash students of Chitral University under the KP Chief Minister’s Student Scholarship Programme on Friday.
The cheques were handed over to 10 students from the Kalash valley, including two females, by university’s Project Director (PD) Prof Dr Badsha Munir Bukhari.
Speaking on the occasion, the PD said it was for the first time that the Kalash students were being provided scholarships for quality higher education.
He said the number of recipient students from the valley would be increased in the near future. He also asked the students to concentrate on their education so that they could serve their community.
