CHITRAL: An internally displaced person from Muzhgol has accused doctors at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) of misbehaving and refusing to treat his ailing wife.
Ali Mohammad told local reporters that a doctor at the hospital advised diagnostic tests for his wife in the casualty ward but refused to prescribe medicines for her.
Mr Ali said when he told the doctor that the same tests had already been carried out he refused to go through the reports and asked him to come later.
He said he was admonished when he asked for prescription of medicines.
“I approached another doctor on duty with the request to prescribe medicines for my wife but he misbehaved with me,” he said.
When contacted, hospital MS Dr Rahman Afridi said he was in Peshawar and would look into the matter on his return to Chitral.
