Youth from Chitral undergo ski training in Naltar

The youngest team member, Salman Hayder from Mogholandeh, Chitral, got 10th position among dozen of kids competing in the junior competition, says a press release. The training was organized by the Pakistan Skiing Federation. After formal induction of trained skiers from Chitral, it is expected that the Pakistan Ski Federation will conduct skiing event at a suitable place in Chitral. Sports enthusiasts have welcomed the introduction of Skiing in Chitral and requested the Ski Federation to conduct similar camps in Chitral during winter season which will promote winter tourism in the remote district.
