CHITRAL: The residents of Seenlasht near Chitral are faced with an acute shortage of water. They still have to use primitive methods to draw water from wells.
In a press release on Tuesday, the residents said to resolve the issue, MNA Shahzada Iftikharuddin had allocated funds through which water could be arranged to the residents by boring.
But on the allocated funds, only 130 feet deep boring could be dug while experts are of the view that sufficient water could be drawn from a depth of 150 feet.
They requested the MNA to arrange more funds to complete the project.
