JUI ready to file reference against its councillors in Chitral

ecpTalking to ChitralToday, JUI-F provincial general secretary Maulana Shujaul Mulk confirmed that the party had no other option except sending reference against the eight members to the commission for violating the party discipline. He said that the provincial cabinet of the party had issued ticket to Maulana Abdur Rehman, a former MPA, but the district ameer of the party completely ignored the decision of senior party leadership, which we cannot tolerate. “The way he (district ameer) demonstrated and went ahead along with the eight members to vote for JI candidate despite standing orders by senior party leadership has left us with no option but to get rid of them,” he maintained. He said that a meeting of the provincial cabinet of the party had been convened on September 5 to discuss the issue, as it happened for the first time that any member of the party turned down the orders of the senior leadership. Sources said the district ameer of JUI-F tore a letter written to him by his party provincial secretary general Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, saying he was nobody to dictate him, adding he would vote whoever he liked as he was all in all in Chitral. At the same time, the PPP has also decided to take two of its dissident members to task for voting Jamat-e-Islami by violating the party discipline. The district president of PPP, Salim Khan, said that they were also going to send them home as provincial party leadership had decided to cleanse the party of all the black sheep. The PPP members included Ghulam Mustafa and Sher Aziz Baig. Mr Salim regretted that the party extended full support to new entrants like Ghulam Mustafa who had no political background during the LG elections, adding he turned out to be a turncoat at the end of the day. “For people like Mustafa, there is no room in the party…we’ll see how he wins the elections as it was due to PPP, he emerged victorious, otherwise he’d no capacity to win even a councilor seat,” he added. When contacted, Rashid Bhatti, director local government, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that the members of the district council will certainly be disqualified if the party sends a reference against them for whatever reasons. “Yes, they’ll certainly go home if the party sends a reference against them to the Election Commission…once a member is disqualified, the commission orders re-elections in that area,” he added. The JUI-F member who showed loyalty to JI members included Maulana Abdul Shakoor, Inamul haq, Sher Muhammad, Mehmoodul Hassan, Riaz Ahmed, Maulana Attaur Rehman, Abu Turab and a lady member. ]]>

Mr. Saleem Khan is 100% right that people like Mustafa has no place in PPP. Because Mustafa is an honest and humble man while PPP is a group of corrupt politicians.

Salim Khan is 200 percent right that disqualification of people like Ghulam Mustafa is a must as he betrayed the party after getting votes in the name of Benazir Bhutto. And Salim Khan is right that people voted for PPP and not to Mustafa, as he has no political background. By voting the hardliner Jamat e Islami, Mustafa betrayed the party. We all should support Salim Khan and get rid of him in case of any re-election. At least, I am sure this time no one is going to vote for Mustafa.

Mr. Salim should first clarify his position before raising his fingers (that too dirty) at Mustafa of Mastuj that why he lost his home constituency and even home polling station in Kandu Jal. Mr. Salim should come out of the fool’s paradise that the triumph of Mustafa and sher aziz baig was due to him. The fact is that they will reemerge with more thumping majority if re-elections held.
Mr. Salim, you are no where, eh.
