Free medical camp organized for flood affectees

KOSHT, Aug 18: A free medical camp was arranged in Kosht by the army in collaboration with the District Health Department Chitral to facilitate the ailing community by providing them healthcare facilities at their doorsteps.
A team of professional doctors examined hundreds of patients including men, women and children. The patients were given free medical advice as well as medicines. Most of the adult patients had complaints of hypertension, allergy and physical weaknesses while children were suffering from fever, cough and diarrhea. Hundreds of women with were also treated by the gynecologists. 
The camp was organized on the directives of Commandant Chitral Scouts and District Health Officer after a special request by member district council Ghulam Mustafa Advocate. 
The team of the physicians included Dr. Gondal (Pak Army), Dr. Gulzar, Dr. Shehnaz and Dr. Sultana from DHQ Hospital Chitral. Locals of the area appreciated this effort and expressed their heartiest gratitude for the concerned authorities.
