Clerk sacked for corruption

CHITRAL, March 27: Mr Shams Uddin, a clerk of the education department Chitral, was removed from service after charges of corruption against him were proved by an inquiry committee. An official of the department told ChitralToday that Rs.500,000 embezzled by the clerk were also recovered from him. The clerk was currently working at the Government High School Rech, when he was sacked from service. The inquiry committee comprised Sahibur Rehman, the principal of Govt High School Booni, and Sadiqullah, a budget and accounts officer, at the office of the district education office (male) Chitral.]]>
