Schedule for LG polls announced

CHITRAL, March 25: The Election Commission of Pakistan has set May 30 for the local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The schedule announced by the ECP said that official announcement of results would be made on June 10. The candidates are required to submit their nomination papers between April 13 and 17 whereas scrutiny of papers would take place between April 20 and 25. The ECP has reserved two days for hearing of complaints and applications. All the appeals would be concluded on May 4. May 5 is set as the last date for withdrawal of applications after which the final list of candidates would be notified on May 6.]]>
