Historical school in Drosh upgraded

DROSH, May 27: The historical and famous educational institute established in 1938 has been elevated to the high school status.

MPA Bibi Fozia inaugurated the Government High School in the presence of a large number of political and social elite of Drosh. The inaugural ceremony was chaired by Haji Nisar Ahmed, District Education Officer Chitral, whereas Assistant Commissioner Drosh Basharat Ahmed was also present.

Chief guest Bibi Fozia along with DEO education and AC Drosh cut the ribbon. Local elite Khuhrshi Ali Khan, Qari Jamal A Nasir, Haider Abbas, Principal Anwaruddin, Haji Muhammad Shifa, Abdul Bari, Zahir Khan, Khus Nawaz, Haji Hazenin Khan lauded the MPA, EDO Education and PTI district Vice President Razitubillah for their struggles in establishing this school.

They said that MPA and education department should also provide needed facilities and equipments to this school. PTI District Vice President Razitubillah said that the PTI government has honored the demand of public and we had worked hard to materialize it and now it has been done.

He criticized ANP local chapter of polluting the public conceptions by spreading false propaganda.

Speaking on the occasion, Haji Nisar Ahmed, the DEO Chitral, said that the elementary & secondary education departmetn was fully aware of the need of SSC level institution in this area and for the purpose paper work were prepared but without strong political commitment things could not result in favor. He said that the lady MPA Bibi Fozia had used her full capacities for establishing this high school.

Bibi Fozia said that the provincial government was keen in development of education sector and not only number of schools were being increased rather the quality education was given top priority. She said that needs of this new high school would be fulfilled.
