Corruption will not be tolerated: MPA-elect
BOONI, April 14: MPA-elect from upper Chitral Sardar Hussain on Monday said he would never interfere in the working of any government department but at the same time would not tolerate corruption.
Addressing party workers and people coming from different parts of Chitral to congratulate him, Sardar Hussain said the PPP was a democratic party and always supported the poor. He said he contested the election only to serve the people of the neglected area. “Improvement in communication system, water supply schemes, irrigation channels as well as eliminating unemployment will be my top priority,” he added.
The MPA-elect said he would try his best to get sufficient funds for the constituency. He added that Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah had also assured him that he would provide full financial support for the development of upper Chitral.
MPA Saleem Khan and other leaders of the PPP also spoke on the occasion. They thanked the residents of the area for their support to the party in the election and said the area would see a green revolution soon.]]>

Some of friends here looking very upset with the win of Shah Sb, may be they have some personal issues but I have one sentence for them is (Jealousy is no more than feeling alone against smiling enemies).

I offer heartiest congratulations to Sardar Hussain, and see the victory as a very happy turning point. Happy because the right wing JUI supported Sardar Hussain in the re-election, which is a very nice gesture and will go a long way in developing tolerance in the area. It gives me immense joy to see that we, at last, have become enlightened enough to rise above ‘religionizing/sectarianizing’ politics. This support by JUI is highly commendable. Regardless of any ‘interest’ or ‘politics’ behind it, the gesture will go a long way in bridging the gap between the ‘sunnies’ and the ‘ismailies’, and developing pluralistic sentiments among the people. We peace lovers vociferously hail it.

This shows that he already knows very well that the KP govt will give him nothing in terms of development funds and the ADP allocations for Chitral district will be eaten up by Saleem Khan who has now confirmed the post of DDAC chairman for himself by helping SH win the polls. Sardar Hussain now has the only option of contacting Zardari, Gilani, Pervez Ashraf for development of Chitral.
And Sayeen Qaim Ali Shah will send grains for me. Gul Jee will send remittances from Canada. Rehmat Ghazi will help me in meeting Pervez Khattak. Saleem Khan will share the grief with me. Bilawal Bhutto will send truck loads of twitts for me. Lakshen Bibi will help me in flying PIA. Maulana Chitrali will give me hints to do opposition. Ghulam Mohd will relax for me. Iftikharuddin will enjoy my bebasi (helplessness). What a people. What a party. What a leader. What a thought. What a victory. What an anger and what a support from the people sitting in Canada. May God help us.
