Non-payment of salaries assailed

Addressing a press conference at the hunger strike camp of the TMA staff established in theSecretariat Roadhere on Monday, he said on the one hand the rulers are rolling in luxuries but on the other the poor government servants and their children are facing starvation. Expressing his utter displeasure over the apathetic attitude of the government, he said that not a single government functionary visited the hunger strike camp of the TMA employees which has entered its sixth day. Mr Latif asked the government to clear the salaries of the TMA staff forthwith failing which the workers of PTI will launch a protest movement against the government.–Zahiruddin]]>
