Woman kills another woman in Denin

CHITRAL, April 16: A woman allegedly murdered another woman in Denin on Monday, the local police told chitraltoday.net.

The police said Qurban Nisa, wife of Subedar (retired) Mursalin of Kosht, who are settled in in Denin, stabbed Zahira Bibi, wife of Qurban Ali, over some family dispute. She also seriously injured Zahira Bibi’s son Abbas Ali after he came to rescue his mother. The injured Abbas Ali has been referred to Peshawar by doctors at the DHQ hospital, as his condition was serious. The police after conducting postmortem handed over the body to the relatives. On the complaint of the deceased woman’s brother Dostan Ali, son of Khosh Wali,  the police registered a case under section 302 and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against the alleged killer and arrested her.
