Three suspected drug peddlers held
BOONI: Police arrested three suspected drug peddlers in different villages during a crackdown on drug peddlers.
A statement said the police during raids arrested Sultan Raees, son of Khalif Subedar of Booni, was arrested after two kg opium and one kg charas along with one bottle of liquor were recovered from his house, said the police.
Similarly, Sharif Uddin of Mulkhow was nabbed after the police recovered two bottles of liquor and 250 grams of charas from his house.
The police said Muhammad Ajab, son of Farid Ullah, of Rain, Nishku, was put behind bars after recovering 1,060 grams of charas from his house.
