ISLAMABAD: Allama Naseeruddin Hunzai, a controversial Ismaili religious figure, has passed away in the USA. He was 100.
In a tweet, his son Izhar Hunzai said the body of his father was being brought from Austin, US, for burial in his native town of Hunza.

It may be noted that a couple of years ago, the government of Pakistan banned Khana-e-Farhang of Allama Hunzai and froze its accounts.
Allama Hunzai wrote hundreds of books on Islam, especially the Ismailism, besides research work on the Brushashki language of Gilgit-Baltistan.
