PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has chalked out a plan for the protection and preservation of cultural heritage of the province.
Officials said that efforts will be made to preserve Kalash culture in Chitral.
The Kalash people are living in Birir, Bumburet and Rumbur valleys of Chitral.
The sources said an academy of art will be established in Peshawar besides opening a cultural complex in each division of the province.
Over three billion rupees for allocated for this purpose, they added.
