JI shows its power in Drosh

DROSH: Addressing a huge public gathering in Drosh, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq said his party was struggling to make Pakistan a corruption free state and this struggle would continue till the end of the menace.

“We are not confined to the ousting of Nawaz Sharif rather we will show the route of law to all the corrupt figures.” He added that mafia had been ruling the country for the last seven decades but only their name changed.

He said the JI had prepared a list of at least 6,000 corrupt figures which included both political and nonpolitical elements. If these circles are cuffed, corruption would come to an end forever. He expressed his resolve for the alliance of religious political parties in the coming election.

Talking about the problems of Chitral, Sirajul Haq said most of them were due to weak representation in national and provincial assemblies. Only JI leadership has the quality to respond to the needs of people and this was only JI who could bring the country out of chaos, Siraj added.

JI provincial chief Mushtaq Ahmed said JI was the only party which had clean and clear leadership and thus only JI could bring an end to corruption in the country. He criticized the government policies and said that “mafia” is exploiting the people of Pakistan. JI would encourage youth and in the coming election JI would allot 50% of tickets to youth. The gathering was addressed by ex-MNA Moulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, District Nazim Dir Upper Sahibzada Fasihullah, District Nazim Chitral Haji Maghfirat Shah, Alhaj Khurshid Ali Khan, Syed Farid Jan.

The local issues of Chitral were also highlighted which included provision of electricity to all the villages of district from Golen Gol, removal of the ban on transportation of legal permit holders of timber etc. A large number of people from different parts of Drosh joined the JI at the gathering.
