Corruption: the blood running through our body, as Karl Kraus states, “Corruption is worse than prostitution. The latter might endanger the morals of an individual the former invariably endangers the morals of entire country.”
As far as corruption is concerned, its root is associated with the birth of a child. Whenever, a child comes to this brutal world, the savage soul of human being teaches him corruption in every position of his life time period. The very basic corruption starts from the upbringing period of a child from his mother with some variety of assistance from his father. As, there is saying “A child’s first institution of learning is his mother lap.” But today’s world it becomes the institution of corruption. Is the mother taught his child the devoir, homage, politeness, respect, righteousness and morality? Is the child is being brought up through religious aspect? Is the child is told the pros and cons of telling lies, by his mother or father? Surely, you may say not! You know the father is busy in piling up money and may be tackle with social affairs, while, the mother is chit-chatting with friends or somewhere before television basking Indian dramas. Some mothers also in a race of jobs by arranging a caretaker for his child. How can other brought yours blood up while you prefer money instead, and that’s also there just for penny. Isn’t this not a corruption, the child grows up without religious values, basic knowledge of Islam, having no idea of morality and humanity?
After gaining this very basic education the child is at the doorstep of School ready for the next mentor. Here also, builder of Nation greet him with corruption through practical means if not so, theoretically. Teacher has nothing to do with the child, his only intention is money.
Other than just teaching the theory and burdening over his mind, has the teacher come up the cloaked potential of a child and moulded them with exceptional delicacy? Has the educator found an epitome of Shakespeare, Allama Iqbal, Einstein, Hellen Keller, Al-Beruni and Ibn-al-Haithsm etc etc? Isn’t this not a corruption, fashioning a memorizing machine just for own relief and gathering money (the root of all evils)? So after all what you can expect from a child after being such a mess. There is very famous quote of Abdul Kalam Azad “if a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful mind, I strongly feel there are three societal members who can make difference. They are the Father, the mother and the teacher”. Apart from those, even the scholar (Imam) of Masjid is also not far away in this journey of corruption. From society, companionship and the mosque (Masjid) also a child seek corruption. The scholar (Imam) of Masjid is delivering how deliberately and passionately the teaching of Islam? Does the sermon is fitting in Islamic jurisprudence, sapience of decisive interpretation and critique of lawful and unlawful (halal and haram) with reference to Shariah, or only tells the stories of Prophets, their followers and their expedition tales? It’s onto you to find what sort of sermons are given daily or special occasions. Isn’t this a corruption on religious principle? So how a child can be useful and productive for their self and to the society? From the mundane level to the eminent level our society is seized by nasty kind of corruption, and this corruption is running through our blood and soul. Every individual of each department is below the horizon of corruption. It is not only the PM whose name is in ‘Panama scandal’ due to off-shore companies , I am not saying he is undefiled but the main theme is before pointing to someone, looks, how many fingers are against you. Even ‘Imran Khan’ is corrupt. If you disagree, then tell me from where he got so much money for 126 and the after 27 days protest at Islamabad? Might be it was the budget of KPK(people), might be it was charity for the Hospital(poor), might be it was foreign funds (destabilizing), might be it was ISI support. Whatever it was the money of people is involved. Isn’t this a corruption?
