Chitral to also get university very soon, says PTI leader
DROSH, Nov 7: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) KPK leader and tehsil Chitral president Haji Sultan Muhammad has said that the provincial government led by his party has fulfilled one of its promises of setting up the regional office of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Chitral.
Talking to this correspondent here, he said the students of Chitral had been facing hardship in communicating with the BISE Peshawar and in winter they even remained unable to travel to and from Peshawar due to closure of roads. The establishment of the BISE office in Chitral was the need of the hour. He said very soon a fully-fledged university would also be set up in Chitral for which all arrangements had been made. The PTI leader added that the establishment of the board office would also provide job opportunities to the educated youth of Chitral. He thanked Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for issuing the orders for the setting up of the board office in Chitral on a priority basis.]]>
I also read the news item by Mr Jahanzeb with a big shock. No relief has been provided to the students in the camp office of BISE Peshawar which is re-named as regional office. It is old wine in a new bottle according to an English phrase.The teachers, students and social circles in Chitral are demanding separate board. The district of Chitral gives an annual income of 90 million rupees to Peshawar board.Only one college in public sector in Chitral sends one million rupees to the BISE Peshawar each year. The income of Chitral is sufficient to run a separate board.

I fully endorse the views of Mr Rahmat Wali Khan. All the queries, corrections, certificates, verifications and migrations are related to the secrecy branch of BISE which is still in Peshawar.For what favour or service Haji Sultan and Jahanzeb are thankful to the chief minister. As far as the camp office is concerned it was in Chitral for the last 26 years. The PTI leaders should plead for the Chitral board with secrecy and top twenty scholarships. This will be a favour and a service for the Chitralis.

Nice joke with the people of Chitral. The esteemed leader of PTI should know that regional office was already established in Chitral. It is not working. We need a full-fledged separate board for Chitral keeping in view the geographical isolation, vast area and hundreds of educational institutes in Chitral.
