There is NO doubt that AKES had played vital role to bring education in backward communities. But failed due to lack of inclusive policies & as per the His Highness the Aga Khan vision

I do not approve what the GM AKES has done by upgrading a high school in an area. Because it will hardly benefit a few hundred people. While thousands of people will be deprived of quality education. The best choice was Aga Khan High School Brep which could have been more beneficial, more helpful and would have gone a long way in materialising the AKES moto of promoting girls education. I would still press to abondon the idea of upgrading Miragram which is in no way feasible. But who cares as respective managers had a track record of flawd policies, poor management, nepotism, favouritism, ilaqayi taasub, aqraba perwari and so on so forth. My apologies for being a bit frank but AKES has history and the blubders. And these bad things have been done by no other than its general managers.Take the example of AKHSS Koragh. Look at their choice of section of the place for such a huge building – despite known it is exposed to flood a huge building was constructed. It is also not accessible for most of the areas. A backward place where there is not even a dispensary but some so-called leaders cashed in on the situation. Their kids are now working there right from teacher to chokidars posotions – it is a quite interesting of elite where you can find all category of people. To cut the long story short I would urge the top AKES manage to reconsider its decision about the school’s upgradation as AKHS Brep is a far better choice. It is convenient to students even from Mastuj, Chuinj, Parkusab, and particularly Yarkhun who have all studied at GHS Brep.

Really it gives me imencse pleasure while to hear that AKES,P Chitral has upgraded some schools in one of the most backward and isolated part of Chitral in Yarkhoon.it will be considered as a game changer for this deprived area.I extend my maximum thanks to G M AKESP Chitral Mr.Khush Muhammad to play vital role for the upgradation of the schools.we have alot of expectations from GM sahib that he will consider AKS Power for upgradation. As he aware well that we have a lot of troubles to access in quality education to meet the need of this challenging era.
