New powerhouse for Chitral town promised

CHITRAL, July 18: A delegation of Power Committee Chitral held a special meeting with SRSP chief executive officer Shahzada Masoodul Mulk.

The meeting was attended by Hayatullah Khan, the president of the power ccommittee, Vice President M. Kawsar Advocate, Chairman Nasir Ahmad and General Secretary Qari Jamshed Ahmad. 

The meeting discussed the establishment of one megawatt powerhouse in collaboration with the SRSP at Shali for the Chitral town. Shahzada Masood once again assured the delegation that the proposed powerhouse would be materialized soon.

The power committee was asked to submit the assent of the local people in writing to the SRSP.  Shahzada Masood also assured the committee that he himself would meet the chief minister to obtain the NOC for the project.

He told the participants that he had already visited other sites and planned for the establishment of more powerhouses. The power committee thanked the SRSP chief for his support.–Bashir Hussain Azad
